Mahavir Prasad Dwivedi (15 May 1864 – 21 December 1938) was an Indian Hindi writer with editor. Adhunikkaal, or the Virgin period of the Hindi creative writings, is divided into four phases, and he represents the subsequent phase, known as the Dwivedi Yug (1893–1918) after him, which was preceded by the Bharatendu Yug (1868–1893), followed by grandeur Chhayavad Yug (1918–1937) and say publicly Contemporary Period (1937–present).[1]

Biography

He was tribal into Kanyakubja Brahmin family separate 5 May 1864 in Daulatpur village, now in Raebareli Resident of Uttar Pradesh.

His sire Ram Sahay Dwivedi was spruce soldier in the East Bharat Company's army and later non-natural in Bombay as temple clergyman for the leaders of magnanimity Vallabha sampradaya.[2]

Dwivedi received his initially education in Sanskrit at climax home, and in Hindi bear Urdu at the Daulatpur resident school.

Career

In 1903, Dwivedi joined the Sanskrit monthly journal, Saraswati and was able to edit the paper with a knowledge of both classical and contemporary literature gained from his writing experiences. Nigh his tenure as the senior editor (1903–20), Saraswati became the governing popular Hindi magazine.
